About the Social Sciences

The department of Social Sciences was initiated in the year 1970, coinciding with the establishment of the Sardar Patel College. It is one of the most productive departments in terms of pass percentage, number of students going abroad for higher studies and also the students who opt for civil services. The department has a consistent high success ratio

Vison

  • To train students academically by inculcating knowledge of social sciences towards preparing them for civil services and other competitive examinations.

Mission

  • To empower students with awareness about the contemporary Indian polity, economy and public administration affairs with right communication of ideas and delivery.
