2024: Felicitation of Mr. P. Ravi Varma on January 30, 2024

A felicitation function was organized by the management of Sardar Patel College to honor Mr. P. Ravi Varma, General Manager of Canara Bank, Vijayawada Circle, Head, AP, for his commendable contributions to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities. The event commenced with a warm welcome accompanied by a guard of honor, followed by the traditional garlanding of the Sardar Patel statue.The program commenced with a vibrant welcome dance, setting the tone for the evening. A skit, carefully curated to evoke about college life, was performed, engaging both the alumnus and the audience. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp was followed by a soulful prayer song. Dr. N. Hemalatha, the principal, extended a hearty welcome, and Sri B. Surender Reddy, the Hon. Secretary cum Correspondent, delivered the keynote address. Numerous alumni enthusiastically shared their perspectives and experiences, enriching the event with their insights.The chief guest, Mr. P. Ravi Varma, emphasized the pivotal role of education in shaping individuals' lives and encouraged students to strive for excellence. The college management and dignitaries felicitated Mr. P. Ravi Varma in recognition of his contributions to Sardar Patel college. Subsequently, Mr. Varma inaugurated the college website marking a significant milestone. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all alumni who attended the function and the participants for making the felicitation ceremony a grand success.

2023

The meet was conducted on 17^th Nov, 2023 at Sardar Patel College for the forthcoming year. The meet was also attended by Principal Dr. N. Hemalatha.

The alumni planned to invite corporate companies as recruiters for under graduate and post graduate students and also to enroll more members into the association and collect donations for development activities of the college and the association. It was also suggested to invite prominent people to deliver extension lecturers and explore possibilities of conducting faculty development programs for teachers on “Teaching methodologies”.

The association organized an extension lecture on “Career Counselling” (Banking Sector) by our Alumni , Sri.V.Arvind , General Manager, Chairman of Telangana Grameena Bank on 3^rd August, 2023 at Sardar Patel College.

2022

The alumni meet was held on 24^th September, 2022 at Sardar Patel College. This meet was attended by many eminent personalities like Sri. N. Niranjan Reddy garu, minister , Sri. S. Soma Bharat Kumar garu, chairman TSDDCF and many others from different fields.

Treasurer Mr. P. Sunder Rajan said that the registration amount received by alumni association as membership fees will be utilized for the college development. The members of alumni meet have decided to enroll new registrations in the association through google form by charging nominal fee. Nomination of new sub committees was also recommended during the meet.

2016

It was an exhilarating time for the college alumni to meet at Sardar Patel College on 8^th March 2016. Dr. S. Sailaja Radhakrishna, Principal welcomed the gathering.

The principal said that the college constructed new classrooms with required facilities. The new women’s hostel would also soon begin to facilitate the girl students. She also said that the college will soon be beautified with a garden by botany department and will also have a new modern canteen in the college to cater the needs of the students.

People who attended the meeting were ready to serve and to be a part of the college progress as when and required.

2008

It was the year when the Sardar Patel College conducted its first alumni meeting. There was a great response from students who graduated from the college. The meet was attended by prominent personalities, who were placed in good positions like MLA’s, police officers, industrialists, advocates, scientists and many others.

Hon’ble secretary said that the construction of a mew college building will be completed soon. People who attended have also unanimously decided to form “Sardar Patel College Alumni Association” at the earliest.
