a) A Quiz on Periodic Table was organised on 9th February 2022, students have actively participated in this competition.
b) Sakshith, Narsimha and Saikiran, students of MPC 2ND year have done a mini project on "Extraction of caffeine from tea leaves" on 30th December, 2021.
c) Hari Krishna, a student of BZC 1st year done a mini project on "Extraction of Hippuric acid from cow urine" on 29th December, 2021.
d) Niharika&Sravanthi, students of BZC 1st year have done a mini project on "Extraction of Casein from milk" on 29th December, 2021.
e) Wasia andBhavna, students of BNC III year have done a mini project on "Water analysis" on 28th December, 2021.
f) A Chemistry festival titled Chem-Quest is conducted on 21st& 22nd January, 2016
a) Department of chemistry has organized a One Day National Seminar on the Topic "AWARENESS ON INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS", on 25th march 2022. The Speaker was Dr. DasariAyodhya, Examiner of Patents & Designs, Govt. of India. The lecture was extremely informative to students and staff.
b) A Seminar on a "Current Trends in Green Synthesis of Nanoparticles and its applications" was organized on 31st Dec 2021. The speaker of the seminar was Dr. VENKATESHAM, Prof. of Chemistry, Siddhartha Institute of Technology & Science. Students gained knowledge of how the Nano particles are synthesized in natural methods and its medicinal applications.
c) A webinar on World Environment Day is held on 5th June 2021. Online competitions such as-elocution, poster presentations, paper presentations, songs etc. were conducted on the eve of World Environment Day and the students have actively participated in the webinar.
d) A Webinar on MOLECULAR SPECTROSCOPY is organized on 29th December 2020. The Speaker of the webinar was Dr. SarithaAduri, Asst. Professor, St. Francis college for women, Begumpet.
15 days certification course on "safety rules in chemistry laboratory" was organized on 5th January, 2022 and about 15 students were enrolled for the course.
a) A traditional day was celebrated on 7th January 2022, all the students have enthusiastically participated in various events like Rangoli, Mehendi etc.
b) A National Science Day is organized on 2nd March, 2021 and the event was graced by chief guest Dr. TanviArora, scientist from NGRI.
c) Field trip to CCMB on Open Day on 26th September, 2019

INTERNATIONAL WEBINARS:
a) Mrs B. Radha& Mrs. C.V.L. Shivani, have Participated in One day International webinar on "Teaching through the pandemic" as a part of FDP programme on 18th may 2020. Organized by Internal Quality Assessment Cell of Sardar Patel College, Padma Raonagar.
b) Mrs B. Radha, Mrs., C.V.L. Shivani have Participated in One day national webinar on "Tools of chemistry combat- COVID-19" organized by department of chemistry of St. Francis college Degree & PG College for Women held on 29th may 2020.
c) Mrs C.V.L. Shivani have Participated in One day International webinar on "COVID-19: Progress in Therapeutic & Vaccine Development" organized by department of chemistry of St. Pious X Degree & PG College for Women held on 22nd June 2020.
d) Mrs C.V.L. Shivani, participated in a two-day International Webinar on "Role of Nanotechnology in Health Management" organized by Department of chemistry of St. Ann's College For Women, Mehdipatnam on 10th and 11th July 2020.
e) C.V.L. Shivaniparticipated in a webinar organised by BJR GOVT Degree College, on "Women in employment challenges and perspectives" On 13th July 2020.
INTERNATIONAL WEBINARS:
a) Mrs B. Radha&Mrs C.V.L. Shivani, have Participated in FDP programme in the national online workshop on "ICT Based teaching in chemistry" organized by Kasturba Gandhi college for Women, West Marredally, Secunderabad on 18th May 2020.
b) Mrs, C.V.L. Shivani has attended two days National Webinar on Techno Science -2020, organized by Department of M.Sc. Organic Chemistry, Loyola Academy, Old Alwal, Secunderabad from 27th -28th May 2020.
c) Mrs C.V.L. Shivani, Participated in a one-day National Webinar on "ROLE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY IN MITIGATING COVID-19" organized by Little Flower Degree College, Uppal, Hyderabad, held on 4th June 2020.
d) Mrs C.V. L SHIVANI, Participated in National level one week online training on "SCILAB-Computational software" organized by Government Degree College for Women, Begumpet, in collaboration with Spoken Tutorial Project, IIT Bombay from 8th june-13th june2020.
e) Mrs, B. Radha have Participated in One day national webinar on "Conscious breathing a technique of healthy life" organized by St. Ann's college for women held on 21st June 2020.
f) Mrs B. Radha& Mrs C.V.L. Shivani, have Participated in 1st network outreach seminar on chemistry at frontier level on 2nd November 2019 faculty with students organized by department of chemistry Govt. degree college khairatabad.
g) Mrs C.V.L. Shivani, have Participated in FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME IN CHEMISTRY FOR UG TEACHERS - A RE-ORIENTATION TO THE RECONSTRUCTED CBCS CURRICULUM organized by department of chemistry Osmania university from13th TO 18th DECEMBER 2018
GOLD MEDALS :SyedaNafeesakhatoon. (B.Sc. BZC 2021) andV. SaiPraneesh Reddy. (B.Sc. MPC 2021) were awarded Gold medals for their excellent performance in their academics on 7th April 2022 at Numaish-2022(All India Industrial Exhibition, Nampally Exhibition Grounds).
Students visited NAARM (National Academy of Agricultural Research Management) a National Science Day celebrations in association with Samskruti foundation, on 28th February, 2022. Theme of the year being -"Integrated approach in science and technology for sustainable future."
Department of chemistry, VanithaMahaVidhyalaya organized aInter college competitions on 14th February 2022, students actively participated in various competitions like: chem quiz, ppts, poster presentations etc.Midhun Nair, D.Sahitya, Juveriya begum of 2ND year and Sowjanya of 3rd year received 2nd prize in quiz competitions.
