SC/ST Cell

The Aim of the Committee is to guide the students belonging to SC/ST Communities and facilitate the financial support to students and encourage them towards better academic performance.

The cell will look into the implementation of reservation policy for SC/ST students as per UGC guidelines.

Roles and Responsibilities of SC/ST CELL

• To collect the information pertaining to SC/ST students in college on annual basis and update the students regarding various scholarship programmes of state govt and UGC.
• To guide SC/ST students towards their academics performance effectively .
• To provide the SC/ST students, training in life skills , personality development, provide career guidance, by directing them towards career orientation programmes, in helping them to choose a right career option .
• To monitor the implementation of SC/ST reservation policy as provided by constitution of India.
• To look after the greivances of students and provide them necessary help.
